Latest update in Google products came in Google Maps. What I like more about Google is regular improvisation. Now Google maps highlight the borders of the cities across the world. Google has added other search filter using postal code of the area. Again try it, search [**92102.**](http://maps.google.com/maps?q=92102&hl=en&ll=32.695733,-117.110138&spn=0.151396,0.220757&sll=32.763027,-117.092285&sspn=0.605125,0.883026&vpsrc=6&hnear=San+Diego,+California+92102&t=m&z=12)

It will show you area highlighted by pink color, which is covered under the same postal code.

Google has already implemented algorithm to filter the search results by geographic parameter.
