No Shave November as the name suggests, an annual tradition in which men don’t shave for the entire month and grow their facial hair to raise awareness about the men’s health. Even women can also participate by not shaving their legs and/or armpits. It is also called as the celebration of laziness. November is one of the busiest times of the second term of the year, so why waste the time for shaving? It is another theory why people celebrate No-Shave November all across the globe.
One more term is closely connected with the No-Shave November is Movember. Movember was first begun in Australia in 1999 to promote prostate cancer awareness. Americans along with the populations from other countries have started celebrating the same and soon it becomes the tradition in all across the world. No Shave November restricts you to shave the facial hairs where as in case of Movember you only have to grow your mustache. You can trim your beard while celebrating Movember. Whether you take it as an opportunity to spread awareness about the health or as a celebration of laziness; it is really an exciting thing to experience at least once in younger age. Some famous sports and Hollywood celebrities have also participated in No-Shave November. Some of the names of celebrities include David Beckham, Brad Pitt, Gerald Butler, and a large number of the Green Bay Packers.
Not only these celebrities, but also our team of young Krishatians have also celebrated the No Shave November this year. Everybody was excited to grow their beard and mustache throughout the month and finally the day has arrived when they have to clean up their well-groomed face. Celebrating No-Shave November has made us realize how strange we look having a month grown beard.
It is all over for this year. December is starting from today and we all are ready to clean up beard. We are going to miss the month grown beard. Are you one of among us? How you have celebrated the No Shave November? Share your Movember pictures with us in the comment box below.
