Our beloved colleague, our little angel, our fighter—Pooja Medchel—an always charming social media manipulator and the reason for us to smile—is no more.
The news collapsed all of us. Even now, it’s hard to accept that our dear colleague and cherished friend, Pooja, is no longer with us. She passed away on November 21, 2024, at 9:05 PM, due to respiratory failure at KIMS Hospital in Secunderabad, Telangana. Her loss is beyond words, and the void she leaves behind feels impossible to fill.
A Journey of Strength, Excellence, and Grace
Born on August 28, 1995, Pooja was an extraordinary soul, a rare combination of innocence, strength and grace. From a very young age, her gentle nature and purity of heart made her a favourite among everyone who knew her. She excelled in everything in academics, extracurricular activities and sports because of her dedication and discipline.
She spent her early years in transition as her family moved frequently due to her father’s business. Despite being away from her parents during her formative years she thrived under the care of her maternal grandparents and retained her loving and cheerful self. At the age of 8 when her family settled in Ahmedabad she truly came into her own. Enrolled in H.B. Kapadia School Pooja quickly became a star student, admired for her academic brilliance, sincerity and kindness.
Pooja wanted to be a fashion designer – a dream that reflected her creativity and individuality. Though circumstances took her in a different direction she carried that creative energy with her in everything she did and found her niche as an expert Social Media Strategist.
A commerce graduate with an education, Pooja discovered her passion for the world of digital marketing as a social media strategist at KrishaWeb. She brought dedication, warmth, and a smile to everything she did, whether it was crafting engaging posts, managing paid campaigns, live-tweeting during global customer exhibitions across time zones, or assisting with internal projects. Pooja possessed all the qualities of an ideal team member—always dependable, resourceful, and ready to go the extra mile.
A Remarkable Career Journey of Dedication and Passion
Pooja’s professional journey started during her graduation days when she joined KrishaWeb. Her part-time job turned into a 12-year career. KrishaWeb was not just her workplace but her second home. Her dedication, hard work, and cheerful presence earned her the admiration of everyone around her.
Her work wasn’t just about managing social media; it was about connecting people, delivering excellence, and leaving an indelible mark on everyone she worked with. Every campaign, every interaction, and every project she touched is a testament to her unparalleled dedication and kindness.
Diagnosed with (PAH) Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension in 2019, she fought bravely, managing her condition while continuing to excel professionally. Pooja’s courage was as remarkable as her work ethic. Despite enduring setbacks that required oxygen support and hospitalizations, she carried herself with grace, juggling her responsibilities and health with strength. She even started writing as an outlet and shared her journey on Instagram to inspire others. Her words like her actions touched everyone who knew her.
As her health deteriorated, the doctors did everything they could to stabilize her but her body which had fought so hard for years could not keep up. Surrounded by her loved ones she left this world with the same grace and quiet strength that defined her life.
Her time with us was short but her legacy at KrishaWeb will live on. Pooja was not just a colleague but an inspiration, a mentor and a family member. Her strength, dedication and joy will be a guiding light for all of us who had the privilege of knowing her.
Goodbye Our Brightest Star
Pooja was not part of KrishaWeb, she was the heart of it—a force of nature whose dedication, positivity and resilience touched every part of our work and lives. On 21st Nov 2024 she left us after a brave and long battle. We can’t put into words the magnitude of our loss. KrishaWeb has not lost an employee, we have lost a family member. Pooja was an example of what it means to live a life of purpose and perseverance. From the smallest of tasks to the biggest of challenges she poured her heart into everything she did and left an imprint on our organization. Her professionalism, humility and warmth will be a benchmark for us to follow for years to come.
As we bid adieu we remember Pooja for the person she was—a warrior who faced life’s challenges with courage and a smile. She taught us the value of hard work, the power of kindness and the strength of never giving up. Her journey was a lesson in resilience and her legacy will always remind us to aim high like she did.
